The project includes the Nanji Island Independent Microgrid Project in Pingyang County, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province and the Luxi Island Grid-connected Microgrid Project
in Dongtou County.
Wenzhou Nanji Island Microgrid Project is the first megawatt-level independent island smart microgrid
completed and put into operation in China.
The project usually adopts a green electricity consumption mode based on new energy, and when the wind and light resource conditions are seriously insufficient, the standby diesel generator set is started and enters the energy-saving operation mode
.
The Luxi Island microgrid implements two operation modes, and when the external power grid is normal, it adopts the grid-connected operation mode; When the power is cut off from the external power grid, it enters the off-grid operation mode to achieve flexible and smooth switching
between the two modes.
