According to the Vietnam Seafood Exporters and Producers Association (VASEP), in the first seven months of this year, Vietnamese bara fish exports to Mexico increased by 73% to $73.
5 million, accounting for 4.
5% of Vietnam's total exports, and more than 90% of exports were frozen fillets

Vietnamese basa fish exports to Mexico amounted to US$11 million in a single month in July, a two-year
increase.

VASEP predicts that Vietnamese bara fish exports to Mexico will reach $125 million this year, an increase of 80%
year-on-year.
