The website of the Mexican Ministry of Agriculture reported on May 17 that according to data from the Mexican Central Bank, the import and export trade of Mexican agricultural products in the first quarter of 2022 hit a new record hig.
Among them, the export value was 1807 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 19%; the import value was 935 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 22%; the trade surplus was 872 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 73.
Mexico's main export agricultural products are beer, avocado, tequila, strawberries, tomatoes and peppers, and the main imported agricultural products are corn, soybeans, pork, wheat, poultry meat and offa.
