A total of 5 storage tanks from 80012# to 80016# in the reforming tank area of the storage and transportation workshop are the raw material oil tanks of the continuous reforming unit, which are responsible for receiving the oil products sent by the atmospheric and vacuum unit of the refining branch, and at the same time conveying the raw materials to the continuous reforming unit.
The raw materials of the storage tanks are light oils.
In order to prevent the light oils from volatilizing from the top of the tank, which will affect the safety production and environmental protection quality of the tank area, the 5 storage tanks are sealed with nitrogen at a certain pressure to avoid the volatilization of oil and gas.

In the first half of 2021, a large amount of nitrogen was used in the reforming tank area.
In response to this situation, the workshop technicians carefully and comprehensively inspected the nitrogen usage and found that the three aspects of the nitrogen process in the tank area can be optimized and rectified.
The first is the reformation.
The tank top nitrogen self-regulating valves of the three tanks in the tank area 80013, 80014, and 80016 were repaired so that the three self-regulating valves could control the opening degree and prevent the direct discharge of nitrogen from running away

Secondly, the two tank breathing valves 80013 and 80014 were updated.
By optimizing the nitrogen use process in the tank area, the workshop process successfully achieved the goal of saving 100Nm3/hour of nitrogen and 16800 yuan in nitrogen cost per week by tightening the three nitrogen loss links
