LS Cable Company, one of the world's leading cable manufacturers, recently announced that it has received an order
for Oman's first optical fiber communication network project.
Under the contract, LS Cable will be responsible for the design and construction of one of the network sections as well as the supply
of fiber optic cables.
According to reports, Oman's first optical fiber communication network is a large-scale optical fiber network planned to connect the capital Muscat to major cities across the country, which is expected to be completed
in 2021.
In the future, Oman also plans to achieve the coverage of this fiber-optic communication network in all regions
of the country by 2030.
