The special review procedure for innovative medical devices is an important supportive measure for NMPA to encourage and promote the research and innovation of medical devices in China

    Research Background

Thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysm is a disease with extremely high mortality, and its incidence is about 7%-15% of all aortic aneurysm-like dilated lesions.

Lifetech G-Branch™ Thoracic and Abdominal Aortic Stent Graft System came into being

G-Branch™ was jointly developed by Lifetech and Professor Guo Wei from the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery of the First Medical Center of the PLA General Hospital and his team.

The main stent of G-Branch™ is pre-installed with two embedded branch stents, and a pair of short branch stents are pre-connected on both sides of the main stent.

G-Branch™ has a wide range of indications and can be used in cases with more complex anatomical structures, and can be applied to visceral branches of different diameters.

The interim results of the G-Branch™ FIM study are excellent, and the Chinese registration clinical trial has been launched

The feasibility study (FIM study) of the G-Branch™ Thoracic and Abdominal Aortic Stent Graft System was conducted by Professor Guo Wei as the principal investigator (PI).

G-Branch™ Thoracic and Abdominal Aortic Stent Graft System is an important product of Lifetech in its total endoluminal aortic treatment platform.
