    As part of its first step, the committee will order up to Rs 110 crore for LED bulbs and tube lights

    He also said a project called "e-safety" is being implemented, which aims to ensure the safety
    of electricians by avoiding electrical accidents.
    The minister also introduced the Green Channel system for HT/EHT consumers as part of the new power connection without delay
    .
    The system has been launched
    due to frequent requests from client conclaves last year.
    The Minister also launched the Green Lane System to benefit
    all types of consumers.

    Consumers can apply to use the system through the KSEB website and apply for the HT/EHT Consumer Green Channel Link

    In the system, consumers get SMS alerts about on-site verification and updates
    on the various value-added services they utilize.

    KSEB officials can also monitor the progress
    of consumer applications on the site.
    Green Channel Systems' special service desk has also started operating at Vydyuthi Bhavan, Thiruvananthapuram, to ensure consumers do not refuse service
