KBR signs bisphenol A technology transfer contract with Hainan Huasheng

On December 16, 2019, KBR announced that it had signed a contract with Hainan Huasheng New Material Technology Co.
, Ltd.
(Hainan Huasheng) to supply Japan's Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation (MCC) proprietary products for a new plant in Dongfang City, Hainan Province.
Bisphenol A (BPA) technology license

Under the terms of the contract, KBR will provide Hainan Huasheng with technical licensing, basic engineering design, commissioning, start-up support and training services for the construction of a plant with an annual output of 240,000 tons of bisphenol

The Bisphenol A technology, owned by Mitsubishi Chemical and licensed by KBR, provides users with superior product quality and lowest long-term production costs
