Kazakhstan exported electricity
to Uzbekistan for the first time in many years, Kazakhstan's energy ministry said.
"According to the agreement reached between the two countries, more than 1 billion kilowatts of electricity will be exported from Kazakhstan to the energy system of Uzbekistan in 2019," the ministry said
.
At the moment, export deliveries of electricity have begun, about 145 million kWh
have been sold to Uzbekistan.
Thanks to the modernization, reconstruction and expansion of Kazakh power plants, export deliveries of electricity from Kazakhstan became possible
