Recently, Germany's juwi Group has completed a 135 MW solar power plant
for Energon Soleq Ravi India Power Resources in the southern Indian state of Karnataka.
The plant covers an area of 243 hectares and is located near
the village of Guttigoli in the Belgaum district.
It is expected to generate more than 226 million kWh of electricity
per year.
The operation and maintenance of the solar power plant will be undertaken by juwi India, which provides maintenance, monitoring and reporting services
.
With the project, juwi India's current total O&M portfolio has reached 347MW and is expected to exceed 500MW
by the end of the year, the company said in a press release.
In related news, Juwi also completed a contract
to build a 250MW portfolio in South Africa after being selected as the preferred EPC contractor for three utility-scale PV projects in the 4th round of bidding.
Juwi's COO revealed, "We expect the financials of these projects to be nearing the end of the year by the end of
July.
We also signed a contract with our customer to sell our self-developed 138MW wind farm Garob
in the Northern Cape.
We expect the financial position of the project to be close
by the end of August.

Separately, Juwi has expanded its utility-scale solar PV project activities in Victoria and New South Wales in Australia, recently launching a proposal
seeking to secure large-scale solar projects from state developers and landowners.
