Sinochem New Net News Jinshi Resources announced on June 14 that Inner Mongolia Jin'ebo Fluorine Chemical Co.

, a holding subsidiary, plans to invest in a new project with an annual output of 2 × 400,000 tons of sulfuric acid for comprehensive utilization of resources

The project is constructed in two phases, with a total investment of about 494 million yuan
.
Among them, the project to be started this time is a 400,000-ton/year sulfuric acid production line project for the first phase.
The planned investment amount is 240 million yuan.
The construction period is expected to be about 14 months

Jinshi Resources said that the proposed investment in the sulfuric acid project is mainly due to two considerations

On the one hand, sulfuric acid is one of the important raw materials for the preparation of hydrofluoric acid by Jin'erbo Fluorine Chemical Company.
In recent years, due to the increasing market demand for sulfuric acid, the price of sulfuric acid has risen rapidly.
The company's investment in sulfuric acid projects can provide raw material security for fluorine chemical projects; On the one hand, the surrounding area of the project is rich in pyrite resources, and some of the raw materials will come from Baotou Iron & Steel's rich by-product pyrite concentrate, which will help reduce the cost of raw materials
