Recently, the Ministry of Natural Resources issued "Shale Gas Mining in Jiaoye 9 Well Zone in Jiangdong Block, Fuling Gas Field, Sichuan Basin, Chongqing City" and "Shale Gas Mining in Pingqiao Block, Fuling Gas Field, Southeastern Margin of Sichuan Basin, Chongqing City" by the Ministry of Natural Resources.

This is the second time that Jianghan Oilfield has obtained shale gas mining rights since the Jiaoshiba block

It is understood that since the beginning of 2018, Jianghan Oilfield started the declaration of mining rights in the Jiaoye 9 well block and the Pingqiao block, led by the Exploration and Development Research Institute, with the cooperation of Fuling Shale Gas Company and other units

In December 2020, plans for development and utilization, environmental protection and land reclamation were successively reviewed and approved by the Ministry of Natural Resources, and all 17 application requirements were completed and met the certification requirements

The newly-added mining rights have a total area of 331.
