Recently, the team of Professor Jiang Ying from the Quantum Materials Science Center of the School of Physics, Peking University, and the Light Element Advanced Materials Research Center of Peking University, Associate Professor Yang Sen of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and Professor Jörg Wrachtrup of the University of Stuttgart, Germany, cooperated with the self-developed qPlus scanning probe.
Qubits are the cornerstone of cutting-edge quantum technologies such as quantum computing, quantum information, and quantum sensing
Figure 1a: Model diagram of the self-developed scanning quantum sensing microscope system, all data for this work are derived from this system; b: The physical photo of the core probe of the scanning quantum sensing microscope system
Jiang Ying's research group has long been committed to the independent research and development of advanced scanning probe microscope (SPM) technology.

Through noise spectrum analysis, the researchers found that both unbonded electrons on the diamond surface and subsurface were effectively depleted under tip manipulation
Postdoctoral fellow Zheng Wentian of Peking University and associate researcher Bian Ke are the co-first authors of the article; Jiang Ying, Bian Ke and Yang Sen are the co-corresponding authors of the article
