According to news from Asia Lubricant Weekly on August 6th, data released by Japanese government agencies this week showed that Japan’s lubricating oil consumption and output in June were both 20% higher than the same period last year.
Consumption and output are also higher than the same period last year

Data from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan show that in June this year, domestic lubricant consumption in Japan increased by 22% year-on-year to 141,900 kiloliters (128,000 tons), compared with 116,177 liters in the same period last year
.
This is also much higher than the consumption of 10.
According to data recently released by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Japan's lubricating oil production (including those used for export) in June increased by 23% year-on-year, from 144,549 kiloliters in the same period last year to 178,831 kiloliters

Japan's lubricant imports and exports in June also showed signs of a year-on-year recovery

Japan’s lubricant exports in June amounted to 66,467 thousand kiloliters, an increase of 23% year-on-year, while imports increased by 214% year-on-year to 23.
