Sinochem Xinnet News Currently, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan is considering formulating an "Energy Basic Plan" that reflects the medium and long-term energy policy guidelines.

The basic energy plan formulated three years ago proposed that by the 2030 fiscal year, the proportion of renewable energy including solar energy will be increased from 22% to 24%, nuclear energy will be increased from 20% to 22%, and thermal power generation will be controlled at 56%.

In addition, in addition to maintaining the current planned level of nuclear power, the main purpose is to reduce the proportion of coal-fired power generation to 40%.
