Italy’s 450 euros/t virgin plastic tax, which was due to take effect on July 1, 2021, has now been postponed until January 2022, several sources in Italy said

PS and R-PET market sources said the new draft legislation for the Ministry of Economy and Finance was passed last week and the proposed new implementation date has now been approved, with the tax due to start early next year
