Italian companies plan to build solar power plants in central Iran

Recently, an Italian company has signed an agreement with Iran to build a solar power plant
in the central region of the country.

It is understood that the agreement signed on Saturday between Italy's Carlo Maresca and Iran's Industrial Development and Innovation Organization is worth $100 million
.

According to the agreement, the 100-megawatt power plant will be built in a 2,000-hectare area
near the Garmsar Special Economic Zone within 15 months.

The Italian company is currently building a 10-megawatt solar power plant
in the Qeshm free trade zone in Iran's southern province of Homzgan.
