WACKER will be presenting its new binders and additives
for the coatings industry at the European International Coatings Show (ECS) in Nuremberg on April 21.
WACKER's newly developed SILRES?WH silicone resin dispersion is based on a new silicone resin that can be used to impregnate wood with water repellent and can also be used as an additive in wood covering
.
Silres-impregnated wood is protected for a long time from moisture and moisture, as well as the resulting damage
to mold and pests.
In addition, WACKER will present the PRIMIS AF 1000, the first binder for high-quality outdoor applications, in the new PRIMIS product range, which can be used to formulate highly resistant, colorful and dust-resistant exterior paints

WACKER will also present for the first time SILRES?WH, a silicone resin emulsion for wood protection coatings whose hydrophobic effect effectively protects outdoor wood from moisture and moisture and the damage
it causes.
Compared with conventional wood protectors, the product can significantly extend the cycle time
of refurbishment and renewal of wood due to its long-lasting protective effect.
The 50% emulsion is based on a functional silicone resin and can be used in hydrophobic impregnation or as an additive in the formulation of film-type wood tinting cover coatings
.
They are extremely flexible and adhere firmly to the surface of the wood, so the unique hydrophobic properties of silicones remain unchanged
for many years.
Weathering tests have shown that wood impregnated with this product is still resistant to moisture and moisture after 15 years
