Issue 9/2015 - BASF and Clariant present new personal care products

BASF of Germany and Clariant of Switzerland recently showcased their latest skincare and hair care products and innovative formulations
at PCHi 2015 in Guangzhou.

In line with the Care CreationsTM brand's "From Life" philosophy, BASF has launched three new products in Asia Pacific for the first time in Asia Pacific under the theme of "Catering to Asian Urban Living" – EpigenistTM – which restores radiance in 8 weeks, LOX-AGETM, which rejuvenates skin, and Euperlan, which gives hair a bright and pearlescent effect.

At the same time, BASF also showcased a number of innovative formulations such as invisible stockings, refreshing sunscreen powder and scalp care shampoo, including the biodegradable Cetiol Ultimate natural emollient, the new anti-aging active ingredient polygonum bistorta extract PerlauraTM, and the hydrolyzed red algae extract Slim-Excess.


Clariant showcased naturally formulated personal care products at PCHi to meet consumers' needs
throughout the morning, afternoon and night.
The range includes: Plantasens Deep Sea Two Seed Oil, Plantasens Olive LD Moisturizer, Plantasens Natural Emulsifier and Velsan® SC Multifunctional Antiseptic Synergist.


Based on Plantasens® Deep Two Grain Seed Oil, the formula makes hair shineier, easier to comb and moisturizing, making it ideal for hair and skincare products such as shampoos, conditioners, creams and cleansers.
Plantasens Olive LD moisturizer has cosmetic properties as well as similar effects to silicone oils, while retaining its natural ingredients; Plantasens Natural Emulsifier and Velsan® SC Multi-Preservative Synergist are gentle and nourishing for quick repair, moisturizing skin and hair
