Ophir Energy to merge Myanmar offshore block Ophir Energy has reached an agreement with Chevron to join the latter's exploration block

offshore Myanmar 。 Chevron subsidiary Unocal Myanmar Offshore has reached an agreement with OFIL Myanmar, Parami Energy Development and Royal Marine Engineering to merge two adjacent offshore blocks, AD-03 and A-5, and decide in the first half of 2018 whether to drill in the combined
blocks.
The agreement is subject to government approval and other prerequisites

The deal will give Ophir a 42% stake
in both AD-03 and A-5 blocks.
