The flue gas CO2 capture micro-swirl enhancement technology development project jointly undertaken by Nanhua Research Institute and East China University of Science and Technology has recently passed the results evaluation organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology of Sinopec
.
The test results show that the microcyclone separator developed in this project has a separation efficiency of more than 95% and a pressure drop of ≤ 20 mm water column
under the condition of an average droplet size of 5 microns.
Flue gas CO2 capture micro-cyclone enhancement technology development project In view of the problem of solvent entrainment loss in the process of CO2 capture, with the micro cyclone separator as the core, around the million tons of flue gas CO2 capture process developed by Nanhua Group Research Institute, a low pressure drop, high-efficiency swirl separation equipment matching the captured solvent was developed, a micro-cyclone enhanced separation mold test device was built, and the mold test test
was carried out.
Flue gas recovery CO2 devices have been used in coal-fired power plants in China to capture CO2 gas in flue gas
.
In the flue gas CO2 capture system, multiple process units need to dust removal and deliquidation of gas, and the flue gas entrains a large amount of amine liquid, resulting in amine liquid loss, affecting subsequent equipment, and even polluting the environment
.
For the dust removal and deliquidation treatment technology of multiple units of flue gas, cyclone separation technology, gravity sedimentation technology, electrostatic precipitator technology and bag dust removal technology are
generally adopted at home and abroad.
However, these technologies generally have the disadvantages of low separation efficiency and large investment, and the microcyclone separator captures CO2 better
