On 29 October, the European Union published Regulation (EU) No 1146/2014 amending the maximum residue limits for
10 pesticides in Annex II, III and V of Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 。 The 10 pesticides include: Bentazone, Benfluralin, Bromoxynil, chlorothalonil, Anthraquinone, Famoxadone, Imazamox, Methyl bromide, Propanil and sulfuric acid (Sulphuric acid).

The new regulations will take effect from the 20th day after their promulgation and will come into effect
on May 18, 2015.
