    At the 2014 Shanghai International Water Exhibition and Convention Center held at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center, Solvay Specialty Polymers showcased a range of specialist materials and technologies for the filter membrane industry to provide customers with optimal water treatment solutions
    。 Solvay high-performance polymer technology, Udel polysulfone (PSU), Veradel polyethersulfone (PESU), Radel polyphenylsulfone (PPSU), Solef polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) homopolymer and Halar polyvinyl chloride trifluoroethylene (ECTFE)
    were on display.

    Solvay Udel Polysulfone (PSU), Veradel Polyethersulfone (PESU) and Radel Polyphenylsulfone (PPSU) materials are soluble in conventional processing solvents and offer excellent mechanical properties, hydrolytic stability and exceptional biocompatibility

    Solef polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) homopolymer can be used to manufacture a variety of durable, long-life membranes

    It is produced using a suspension polymerization process and can produce products with low branching and no gel
    .
    Halar ethylene-trifluoroethylene (ECTFE) is a semi-crystalline, meltable fluoropolymer product that helps hollow fiber membranes achieve excellent chemical resistance in the production of thermo-induced phase separation near the melting point of polymers
