BASF recently presented a wide range of solutions for the construction, automotive and water treatment industries, as well as products and technologies for improving energy efficiency and reducing emissions at the China (Chongqing) International Investment and
Global Sourcing Conference.
These include the innovative FWC?four-way conversion catalyst for gasoline vehicles, which simultaneously removes particulate matter, carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons and nitrogen oxides from vehicle exhaust, helping automakers meet the stringent requirements
of China's new emissions regulations.
Other emission reduction solutions on display include SCRoF?, a particle replenisher with selective reduction catalyst, for diesel vehicles, and AdBlue?, which can be injected directly into the exhaust stream of diesel trucks
.
In combination with a selective catalytic reduction catalyst, it reduces nitrogen oxides in the exhaust gas by more than 80%.
In addition, BASF showcased innovative solutions for creating energy-efficient and comfortable environments, including spray polyurethane foam for roofs and walls and innovative Neopor® foam insulation solutions
for exterior walls.
