According to Professor Liu Zhongyi, phthalate plasticizers are the world's most widely applicable and largest amount of plastic processing and chemical production auxiliaries, widely used in plastics, rubber, adhesives, cellulose, resins, medical devices, cables and other products

China is the world's largest producer and use of phthalate plasticizers, with a total production capacity of more than 5 million tons

However, because domestic enterprises do not yet have the ability to produce green non-toxic plasticizers, all green non-toxic plasticizers on the market are imported from Europe

In June 2015, the EU standard was upgraded, requiring that all electronic and electrical products exported to the EU (except medical and monitoring equipment) use non-toxic plasticizers
from July 22, 2019.
The non-toxicity of plasticizer products in China is imminent
