    The Solvay Udel® PSU can be used as a sterilizable alternative to disposable polymer parts for the manufacture of two injection-molded parts of MTTS ventilators: the humidifier housing and the positive end-expiratory pressure (PEEP) chamber of
    the CPAP system.

    Udel?Elo P-1700 PSU is a medical-grade biocompatible polymer that retains its strength and toughness after repeated 100 autoclaving treatments, withstands highly corrosive chemical disinfectants commonly used in the medical industry (such as sodium hypochlorite bleach and 2.
    4% glutaraldehyde solution), is also more resistant to heat and hydrolysis than polycarbonate, and maintains low creep properties
    at high temperatures and under continuous stress.
