Iran’s Tehran Times reported on January 23 that Iran has resumed exports of farmed caviar to EU member states and will become the world’s second-largest caviar producer within the next 10 years , said Akamiri, head of the Iranian Veterinary Organization .
In the last Iranian calendar year ended March 20, 2021, Iran exported more than 4 million tons of caviar and 1 million tons of sturgeon meat worth about $16 million to 23 countries and regions .
