Recently, Innergex Renewable Energy and Energía Llaima are collaborating to acquire a 140MW Duqueco hydropower project
in Chile.
The two companies won the bidding process to purchase the project, which included two hydroelectric facilities
.
The transaction is subject to certain regulatory approvals in Chile and a definitive cooperation agreement
between the parties.
In addition, Innergex signed an exclusive agreement with Energía Llaima to acquire 50% of the company's shares
in a joint venture partnership.
