Songwon of South Korea has set up a coating technology service laboratory at its plant in Meiyan, South Korea, to carry out powder and liquid coating application research.
With the addition of multiple weather-resistant equipment, Songyuan will support customers to develop solutions that can solve problems related to UV and temperature stability and UV curing.
Songyuan’s new technical service laboratory can test the molecular structure of new products being developed by the R&D team, and screen the required properties according to the different binders and formulation types used by customers in specific industries.
Rosanna Telesca, head of the company’s coatings market center, said: “Since this summer, we have begun to work with several major customers to find solutions that meet their needs and meet their application areas.
Our new technical service laboratory will help the new Technology research and development of molecules, new mixtures, and even new physical forms of existing products to create value for customers.
” Songwon’s mixing plant in Suwon, South Korea has begun to use its high-performance ultraviolet absorbers (UVA) and hindered amine light stabilizers (HALS).
) Production of pre-mixed products with composite components.
Suwon Factory provides standard or customized (such as mixing according to customer formula) stabilizer pre-mixed products.
By reducing the complexity of production and reducing the steps required for preparation, customers can also benefit from ready-to-use solutions (such as the SONGSORB CS B compound).
In addition, Hu Zhengyu, China Sales Manager of Specialty Chemicals Business Unit, will also join Songyuan Chemical.
