Indonesia will strengthen trade in Russia's seafood exports

According to the news from SeafoodMedia on September 26, Indonesian Maritime and Fisheries Secretary-General Antam Novambar said after holding bilateral talks with Ilya Shestakov, director of the Federal Fisheries Bureau of the Russian Federation during the Fifth Global Fisheries Forum and Seafood Expo held in St.
Petersburg, Russia, that Indonesia will strengthen cooperation with Russia in the trade of fishery products and increase seafood exports
to Russia.

During the bilateral meeting, Antam Novambar called for an agreement to strengthen cooperation on trade in fishery products between the two countries, which he hoped would be signed
during the G20 summit in Bali in November 2022.

During the talks, Ilya Shestakov said that in recent years, Russia has become one of the potential markets for Indonesian fishery products exports, while Russia has satellite technology
to monitor fishing vessels.
