Food Partner Network News Food Recall Sauce Export Labeling Regulations

In response to the notice published on the official website of the Singapore Food Authority on 6 September 2022 regarding the recall of sweet soy sauce and fried chicken chili sauce under the brand ABC in Singapore, BPOM clarified on the official website that the reason for the recall of the product was that the sulfite and benzoic acid (preservative) were not identified on the label as allergenic.
BPOM reminds exporters and manufacturers to be aware of and comply with the labelling regulations of exporting countries
