As of April 30, India added 269.
64 MW of renewable energy capacity last month, bringing its total grid-connected clean energy capacity to 70,053.
    81 MW
, according to the Economic Times.

India added 34,165 MW of wind power, 21,885.
1 MW of solar as of April 30 including rooftop solar, 4,489.
80 MW of small hydropower (up to 25 MW) and 8,700 MW of biomass (bagasse) cogeneration
, according to the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.

Until April 30, India also witnessed 674.
81 MW of biomass (non-bagasse) cogeneration
    .

India also installed 40 MW of grid clean energy in April, bringing the sector's total installed capacity to 1,046.
93 MW at the end of April this year
    .

India has not added any waste-to-energy generation and biomass (bagasse) cogeneration according to grid-connected renewables
    .

Similarly, with the capacity of off-grid clean energy, there is no increase
in the waste-to-energy and biomass gasifier segments.
However, another 40 MW of solar photovoltaic (SPV) capacity
was added in April this year.

Earlier, India set an ambitious target of 175 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2022, including 100 GW of solar and 60 GW of wind
