According to the Dutch New Energy Research (DNE) report, the Dutch solar market added 658 MW in the first half of 2018, with impressive growth
in all its segments.
Data from the Dutch Solar Quarterly shows that most of the new installations are in the commercial sector, and ground-based installations increased by 60%
in the first half of this year compared to last year's full-year figures.
DNE said it expects further growth in installations in the second half of the year
.
Under a long-term contract with ENGIE Netherlands, developer ib Vogt recently connected the largest solar park in the Netherlands, a 54.
5 MW project in the south of the country

The country continues to support solar energy, with plans to issue green bonds
worth up to €5 billion next year.
The SDE+ program supports large-scale solar and other renewable energy sources

In the first half of this year, the Netherlands imported more than 1 billion euros worth of solar panels through Europe, with Vietnam being its largest source of imports
