On February 21, Huayou Cobalt announced that the company's public issuance of convertible corporate bonds has been approved by the China Securities Regulatory Commission.

It is understood that since 2021, Huayou Cobalt has continuously expanded the production capacity of ternary precursors, increased its control over upstream raw materials such as nickel and cobalt, and entered the field of lithium iron phosphate to accelerate its integrated industrial layout of lithium battery materials

In terms of ternary materials, Huayou Cobalt has established a joint venture with Posco Chemical and LG Chem to develop ternary materials business through the acquisition of Bamo Technology, a ternary cathode material company
