Henan clarifies the social responsibility reserve measures of grain processing enterprises

According to the Henan Provincial Grain Bureau, in order to further enhance Henan Province's ability to ensure food security, enrich market regulation and emergency measures, and firmly grasp the initiative in food security, the Henan Provincial Grain Bureau issued the "About the Establishment of the Social Responsibility Reserve of Grain Processing Enterprises".

The corporate social responsibility reserve refers to the finished grain inventory established by grain processing enterprises above designated size in accordance with the social responsibilities defined by laws and regulations.

Regarding the social responsibility reserve of grain processing enterprises, the "Opinions" propose that, in principle, flour and rice processing enterprises with a daily processing capacity of more than 500 tons of wheat and rice in normal production and operation within the jurisdiction, and processing enterprises with a daily processing capacity of more than 200 tons of wheat and rice , and remote mountainous counties and other processing enterprises with a daily processing capacity of more than 100 tons of wheat and rice need to establish social responsibility reserves

In accordance with the principle of "pilot first, then expand", the "Opinions" make it clear that each provincial city will determine 2 local large-scale enterprises, and the Jiyuan Demonstration Zone and each directly-managed county (city) will determine 1 local large-scale enterprise.

The establishment, management and utilization of social responsibility reserves are included in the assessment of the food security responsibility system
