From 0 to 24:00 on March 5, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 10 new confirmed cases, all of which were imported cases (3 in Tianjin, 3 in Guangdong, 2 in Shaanxi, and 1 in Shanghai) Cases, 1 case in Sichuan); no new deaths; no new suspected cases.

On the same day, 15 new cases were cured and discharged, and 435 close contacts were released from medical observation.

There are currently 163 confirmed cases imported from abroad (including 1 severe case), and there are no existing suspected cases.

As of 24:00 on March 5, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, there are currently 173 confirmed cases (including 1 severe case), a total of 85,153 cured and discharged cases, and a total of 4,636 deaths.
