From 0-24 o'clock on March 4, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 9 newly confirmed cases, all of which were imported cases (6 in Shanghai, 1 in Tianjin, 1 in Hunan, and 1 in Guangdong).
On the same day, 8 new cases were cured and discharged, and 840 close contacts were released from medical observation.
There are currently 167 confirmed cases imported from abroad (including 1 severe case) and 2 suspected cases.
As of 24:00 on March 4, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, there are currently 178 confirmed cases (including 1 severe case), a total of 85,138 cured and discharged cases, and a total of 4,636 deaths.
