From 0-24 on March 12, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 7 new confirmed cases, all of which were imported cases (3 in Guangdong, 2 in Shanghai, 1 in Tianjin, 1 in Hunan) Cases); no new deaths; no new suspected cases.

5 new cases were cured and discharged on the same day, and 249 close contacts were released from medical observation.

There are currently 179 confirmed cases imported from abroad (no severe cases), and no existing suspected cases.

As of 24:00 on March 12, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, there are 184 confirmed cases (no severe cases), 85,214 cured and discharged cases, and 4,636 deaths.

31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 17 new cases of asymptomatic infections (all imported from abroad); no cases were converted to confirmed cases on the same day; 6 cases were released from medical observation on the same day (all imported from abroad); 255 cases of asymptomatic infections were under medical observation (all imported from abroad).

A total of 12,242 confirmed cases have been notified from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
