From 0-24:00 on May 26, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 19 newly confirmed cases, including 17 imported cases (12 in Guangdong, 1 in Beijing, 1 in Inner Mongolia, Shanghai 1 case, 1 case in Fujian, 1 case in Sichuan), 2 cases of local cases (both in Guangdong); no new deaths; no new suspected cases.

On the same day, 12 new cases were cured and discharged, and 287 close contacts were released from medical observation.

There are currently 297 confirmed cases imported from abroad (including 3 severe cases) and 1 suspected case.

As of 24:00 on May 26, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, there are 327 confirmed cases (including 3 severe cases), 86,075 cured and discharged cases, and 4,636 deaths.

31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 22 new cases of asymptomatic infections, of which 18 were imported from abroad and 4 were local (all in Guangdong); 1 case was converted to a confirmed case (imported from abroad) 11 cases of medical observation were released on the same day (9 cases imported from abroad); 392 cases of asymptomatic infection were still under medical observation (363 cases imported from abroad).

A total of 17,978 confirmed cases have been notified from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
