Health Commission: 16 newly diagnosed cases on the 31st, including 6 in the local area

From 0-24:00 on March 31, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 16 new confirmed cases, including 10 imported cases (3 in Shanghai, 3 in Guangdong, 2 in Jiangsu, Inner Mongolia) 1 case, 1 case in Shandong), 6 local cases (all in Yunnan); no new deaths; no new suspected cases.

On the same day, 9 new cases were cured and discharged, and 99 close contacts were released from medical observation.

There are currently 172 confirmed cases imported from abroad (including 2 severe cases) and 3 suspected cases.

As of 24:00 on March 31, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, there are currently 187 confirmed cases (including 2 severe cases), a total of 85,394 cured and discharged cases, and a total of 4,636 deaths.

31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 42 new cases of asymptomatic infections, including 19 imported from abroad and 23 domestically (all in Yunnan); 3 cases were converted to confirmed cases on the same day (all imported from abroad) ); 6 cases were released from medical observation on the same day (all imported from abroad); 288 cases of asymptomatic infection were still under medical observation (262 cases imported from abroad).

A total of 12,545 confirmed cases have been notified from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
