Health Commission: 14 new confirmed cases on the 14th, 5 local cases

From 0-24:00 on May 14, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 14 new confirmed cases, including 9 imported cases (3 in Shanghai, 2 in Shaanxi, 1 in Liaoning, Shandong 1 case, 1 case in Guangdong, 1 case in Sichuan), 5 local cases (3 cases in Anhui, 2 cases in Liaoning); no new deaths; no new suspected cases.

On the same day, 20 new cases were cured and discharged, and 351 close contacts were released from medical observation.

There are currently 252 confirmed cases imported from abroad (including 1 severe case) and 1 suspected case.

As of 24:00 on May 14, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, there are currently 279 confirmed cases (including 1 severe case), a total of 85,914 cured and discharged cases, and a total of 4,636 deaths.

31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 25 new cases of asymptomatic infections, including 15 imported from abroad and 10 local (7 in Anhui and 3 in Liaoning); no confirmed cases were converted on the same day; 12 cases were released from medical observation (11 cases imported from abroad); 341 cases of asymptomatic infection were still under medical observation (326 cases imported from abroad).

A total of 13,157 confirmed cases have been notified from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
