Hanergy Thin-Film Power Group said it has signed a pre-sale contract
of up to 900 million yuan with Japan's Forest Group International Group at Hanergy's headquarters in Beijing.
Hanergy signed a 900 million yuan Hanwa pre-sale contract with Japan's Forest Group
The transaction marks Hanergy's entry into the Japanese market
through Hanergy's thin-film power generation.
The contract is also the largest to
date in the Japanese thin-film power market.
Hanergy Thin-Film Power believes that after the Japanese government revised its energy development plan in August, Japan's photovoltaic power generation potential is huge, because the plan encourages the use of solar energy
.
Haruyuki Mori, Chairman of Forest Group, said, "The signing of the Hanwa pre-sale agreement with Hanergy is based on the business prospects of PV under the zero-emission policy for Japanese residential users in the next 5 to 10 years
.
We are very bullish on Hanergy's thin-film power generation products
.
”
Lv Yuan, Vice President of Hanergy Thin-Film Power Group, said, "Hanergy was able to reach an agreement with Japan's leading FGS company in a short period of time, thanks to the company's huge technical investment and patent applications
for thin-film solar since 2009.
We are very optimistic about the Japanese market and believe that Japan will be a strategic market
for Hanergy in Asia.
”
Hanergy launched Hanergy thin-film power generation in April, and since then, the product has been pre-sold
in about 20 countries around the world.
Hanergy is also expected to sign a sales agreement
for 10,000 Han umbrellas with another Japanese company.
