On December 10, Wang Jinyong's research group from Guangzhou Institute of Biomedicine and Health, Chinese Academy of Sciences published a research paper entitled Regeneration of immunocompetent B lymphopoiesis from pluripotent stem cells guided by transcription factors in Cellular & Molecular Immunology .

B cells are the key cell component of humoral immunity, including two major groups of innate immune B1 cells and adaptive immune B2 cells (MZ B, FO B)

Based on the two-step strategy of "regenerating seed cells in vitro and mature in vivo", the research group achieves the induction of B cell regeneration

Doctoral students Zhang Qi and Wu Bingyan of the Guangzhou Institute of Biomedicine and Health of the Chinese Academy of Sciences are the co-first authors of the paper
