General Motors and Honda have announced the expansion of their two-year partnership to include a "series of affordable electric vehicles" built on GM's flexible electric vehicle platform, as well as its A modified battery pack of the Ultium brand

The two automakers first announced two years ago that they would collaborate on two Honda-branded electric vehicles built on GM's flexible Ultium powertrain

The Japanese company will design the exterior and interior of the new electric vehicle, while the platform will be designed to support Honda's specifications

And they'll be built at GM's North American plants and are expected to go on sale for the 2024 model year
