In order to promote the standardization and branding development of Fuzhou fish ball industry and enhance the influence of Fuzhou fish ball industry in the national snack industry, on the morning of October 1, the first two authorized stores of Fuzhou Fish Ball Association of Fujian Province were officially unveiled.

According to statistics, the total output of Fuzhou fish balls in 2020 is about 157,000 tons, with an annual sales of 3 billion fish balls and an output value of 7 billion yuan

Teng Yongzhuang, president of Fuzhou Fish Ball Association, said that since the establishment of the association two months ago, it has promoted the transfer of the geographical trademark of "Fuzhou Fish Ball" and the declaration of the group standard of "Fuzhou Fish Ball".

In order to support the bigger and stronger Fuzhou fish ball industry, Fuzhou is drafting the "Six Measures on Accelerating the Development of Fuzhou Fish Ball Industry", which will provide industrial support from six aspects, including brand cultivation, inheritance and protection of Fuzhou fish ball production skills
