The "Notice" requires that local market supervision, education, health, public security and other departments shall, in accordance with the deployment requirements of the State Council's joint prevention and control mechanism, under the unified leadership of the local party committee and government, coordinate research and deployment of new crown pneumonia epidemic prevention and control and school food safety.

Local market supervision and education departments should urge off-campus meal service units and schools to strictly implement the main responsibility for food safety, and effectively enhance food safety awareness and ability.

Before the start of school meals, off-campus meal service units and school cafeterias should comprehensively check the health status of employees, comprehensively clean and disinfect the environment and facilities of processing and production sites, comprehensively inspect and clean up the inventory of food raw materials and food additives, and comprehensively clean and disinfect tableware and direct access.

Education departments in various places should urge schools to implement the responsibility system for food safety principals (principals), and strengthen food safety management in school canteens and other places

Local market supervision departments should further increase the intensity and frequency of supervision and inspection of off-campus meal service units, school canteens, and food operators around schools to achieve full coverage

Local health departments should further increase the publicity and education of epidemic prevention and control knowledge for out-of-school meal service units, schools and food operators around schools, and guide the development of food-borne disease prevention knowledge education

Local public security organs should file and investigate suspected criminal food safety cases transferred by market supervision and other departments in accordance with the law, and severely crack down on food safety crimes in schools and their surrounding areas

According to the deployment of the notice, local market supervision, education, health, public security and other departments will cooperate closely to strengthen work information reporting and information sharing, form a joint supervision force, and report the relevant work situation to the State Administration for Market Regulation, Ministry of Education, National Health Commission, Ministry of Public Security
