Fortum, a consortium of Finnish wealth and Montenegrin power company EPCG, announced that it has won the construction and operation of a photovoltaic project
with an installed capacity of 250 MW in the country, according to Montenegro's Ministry of Economy.
In one of Fortum's launches, the consortium proposed to develop a photovoltaic project
with a generating capacity of 250MW in Ulcinj, Montenegro.
The company noted that the next stage in the process is to negotiate a final contract with Montenegro, which is expected to end by the end
of 2018.
According to the ministry, the consortium provided $204 million in investments in
photovoltaic projects.
