Recently, Hainan Academy of Agricultural Sciences presided over the general identification of the project "Research on the occurrence and control of root knot nematode of Southern medicinal plants in Hainan Island" The identification committee thinks that the research results have reached the leading level in China as a whole, and the application of molecular biology technology to identify the pathogenic root knot nematode of Southern medicine plants has reached the international advanced level It is understood that the project has carried out a comprehensive investigation on the occurrence of root knot nematode disease of 14 species of South medicine plants cultivated in a large area in 11 cities and counties of Hainan Province, and found that 10 species of South medicine plants were infected with different degrees of disease, including Huaishan, Haiba halberd, pepper, Chenxiang and Changchun flower In addition, it is the first time to find out that the root knot nematode and Spanish root knot nematode are harmful to the south medicine plants in China, among which the halberd, aloe and clove are the new harmful objects of the root knot nematode Five effective and low toxic nematicides were screened out in the project, and comprehensive control measures were proposed, such as rotation, removal of diseased plant residues, biological fumigation, sunlight disinfection, cultivation and selection of disease-free seedlings, so as to promote the healthy growth of Southern medicinal plants in Hainan Province.
