Rachel Stotter, director of sales at T&G Global, said demand for Aifei apples has been very strong globally, especially in Asia and North America
    .
Last season, all New Zealand-grown Aifei apples in Asian markets were sold out ahead of schedule
    .
T&G Global's Aifei apples grown in the northern hemisphere are selling well in Asia, and marketing campaigns targeting the Chinese New Year have been successful
    .

T&G Global's Aifei apples are currently grown in both the northern and southern hemispheres, spanning six continents
    .
In New Zealand, the main growing areas of the Aifei apples are Hawke's Bay, Gisborne and Nelson
    .

Despite the ongoing disruptions from the COVID-19 pandemic and global supply chain challenges, T&G has a robust shipping plan in place to ensure its premium Aifei apples are available to consumers around the world
    .
Craig Betty, director of operations at T&G Global, said the company was working closely with shipping partners, working closely with Zespri, Bostock New Zealand, despite labour shortages and congested global shipping networks putting the industry under considerable pressure this season.
We will cooperate with other exporters to ship products to the United States through chartered ships and cooperative charters to ensure that Aifei apples arrive in North America on time
    .

In addition to commercial shipping, this season's Apples are expected to ship from a number of ports including Napier, Nelson and Tauranga on six chartered ships to North America
