China News Service, Shanghai, March 1 (Chen Jing and Sun Guogen) The reporter learned from the Shanghai Public Health Clinical Center on the 1st that experts from the center have discovered the key factors for the recovery of patients with new coronary pneumonia: T cell inflammation and CD4.

According to reports, the research conducted by Professor Lu Hongzhou and Professor Zhou Xiaohui of the Shanghai Public Health Clinical Center's infectious disease medical research team is of great significance for understanding the immune mechanism of new coronavirus infection and guiding the clinical treatment of severely ill patients with new coronavirus.

Lu Hongzhou explained that T cells are like commanders and first-line fighters on the front line of the anti-virus , playing an important role in the fight between the human body and the new coronavirus ; anti-virus neutralizing antibodies are like precision missiles that can prevent viruses from invading human cells; and T cells CD4 helper T cells in the subgroup play a key role in the production of helper antibodies.
